GRMHD Simulations and Modeling for Jet Formation and Acceleration Region in AGNs

Relativistic jets are collimated plasma outflows with relativistic speeds. Astrophysical objects involving a system comprising compact object such as black hole, surrounded by rotating accretion flows, the produced near central object. The most accepted models explaining origin of involve magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) processes. Over past few decades, many general MHD (GRMHD) codes have been developed and applied to model jet formation in various conditions. This short review provides an overview recent progress GRMHD simulations generating their modeling for observations.
